I only had the opportunity to be in the company of Uncle Bub on two occasions. Both really joyful events - the weddings of his two nephews - and I remember his pleasant smile and quiet, peaceful demeanor and how happy he was to see them all grown up and starting families of their own. Count it an additional blessing that you all were able to see him live long enough to enjoy a comfortable retirement.
While we are all extremely saddened by his untimely departure from his earthly home, we have the Blessed Assurance that he is now in a home not made by hands, where he can joyfully fellowship with God, angels and all of his loved ones who had gone on before him. Be blessed in the knowledge that he received a "Welcome Home" by God the Father.
I will keep his wife, Cassandra, his brother, Joe, and the rest of his family in my prayers.
